Three paintings in a private collection!

Announcement. Three paintings from the "Art and Ethics Exhibition" in Brussels (2017) have been sold and they are now in the private  collection of Mr. Elias Vanakas in Brussels. These are : "Ninety years after", "The Glass Prison" and  "1 + 1 = 1 (a sacred moment)". We hope that the owner will enjoy them!! Andreas Liazos [1] and Dr Paraskevi Kitsa [2] Reflection of the art exhibition of George Fanaras «SinoTwo»   During the days of 8-29 September 2017 , the art exhibition ‘ Art & Ethics, Reflection through Art’ took place at Covent Garden in Brussels. This event has been composed by a significant collection of canvases, made by the rising young artist Mr Giorgos Fanaras (SinoTwo). The main concept of this exhibition was based on the field of ethics and the ways that the art’s contribution could increase people’s awareness. Through a variety of ethical topics linked to our modern era, the artist is aiming to magnify the visitors’ attention and understanding about topics like the people’s isolation, the idea of judgement, the destruction of natural sources or the recent increasing flow of war immigrants. It is obvious that these paintings are trying to deliver a clear message for morality issues which are being demonstrated in different forms like scenes based

Short speech of the artist in the Opening "First of all, I would like to thank Mr Isidoros Karatzas and monsieur Thierry Bourgeois for their significant contribution that made the exhibition possible to happen. It is great honor to be here today and of course I am really glad to have all of you at the opening. For me this is an opportunity to make an ethical debate through my artworks. The issues of the ethics table was an inspiration and a challenge at the same time. So, I created seven pieces with enigmatic events and symbolic figures. My point is to make the viewer contemplate, enrich and reevaluate his perspective on ethical issues. If you have any thoughts and questions, feel free to ask me. About the Exhibition Ethics is not only a theoretical concept. Aristotle considers that ethical virtues are necessary for the way we live our lives. Are necessary for a well lived life. Ethical principles hold societies together when discussed and deliberated. Sometimes these same principles can tear societies apart due to misconceptions.   This exhibition is the effort of a young artist to contribute to the ethics deliberations and to imagine the ethics principles as part of the quest for the good life.
